The 9th VELUX Daylight Symposium was organized as a digital event, and took place on November 15-19 under the theme `Bridging research and practice´. It was attended by more than 20.000 viewers.

The Daylight Symposium is a biennial conference organized by the VELUX Group for researchers, architects, and others with a professional interest in the role and importance of daylight for creating healthy and resilient buildings. The Daylight Symposium encourages sharing of scientific knowledge and practical applications by interlinking disciplines that are usually addressed in separated spheres and professional circles.

Since the first event in 2005, the following topics have been explored; defining a common language, daylight and learning, daylight and legislation, healthy living, energy use and health, daylight in a human perspective, new eyes on existing buildings, daylight as a driver of change, and healthy and climate-friendly architecture.
